Sales Assistant
Help turn enquiries into booked jobs. You'll follow up leads from WhatsApp, calls and quote requests, prepare quotations, join site visits for commercial and larger jobs, and keep the sales pipeline moving for Yellowbee across Penang.
What you'll do
- Respond to and follow up incoming leads from WhatsApp, phone and the website
- Understand what the customer needs, suggest the right service and prepare a clear quotation
- Join site visits to commercial and larger jobs to note the scope and take measurements
- Follow up customers until the booking is confirmed or the customer decides not to go ahead
- Work with the operations team so scheduled jobs match the scope agreed with the customer
- Keep neat, accurate records of leads, quotes and follow-ups
- Pass on what customers are asking for so we can improve what we offer
What we're looking for
- A valid car licence and willingness to travel to customer sites across Penang Island and Seberang Perai (prioritised)
- SPM / O-Level or above; comfortable reading and writing in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English
- Confident talking to customers on the phone, on WhatsApp and in person
- Organised with follow-ups — you don't let a lead go quiet with no action
- Basic computer / smartphone skills for quotes and records
Nice to have
- Experience in sales, retail or customer service
- Experience quoting services or projects
- Your own transport

A basic salary of RM1,700 to RM2,100 a month, plus EPF, SOCSO and EIS. There's a petrol / travel allowance for site visits.
Yellowbee runs the ads and passes on the enquiries — WhatsApp messages, calls, quote requests. Your job is to follow up until they become bookings. Bringing in your own contacts is a plus, not a requirement.
Some. Home enquiries are usually handled by phone and WhatsApp; commercial and larger jobs need a site visit. Petrol and travel are covered.
A car licence, a phone, and the confidence to talk to customers. Product and pricing training is provided.
Yes, this role is full-time, Monday to Saturday.
