Cleaning Technician
Travel with the Yellowbee crew to customers' homes and business premises across Penang and deep-clean carpets, sofas, mattresses, car seats, curtains and floors using vacuums and water-extraction machines. Active, hands-on work with training provided.
What you'll do
- Deep-clean mattresses, sofas, carpets, car seats, curtains and floors at the customer's location
- Check items and work areas before starting, and tell the customer about any stains or existing damage
- Set up and protect the surrounding area before work begins
- Operate vacuums, water-extraction machines and other equipment safely and by the correct method
- Treat stains, wash, extract and wipe down the Yellowbee way
- Handle customers' furniture and belongings carefully, and leave the premises tidy
- Load in and out, clean and look after the machines and supplies
- Be polite with customers and keep to the day's appointment schedule with the team
What we're looking for
- A valid driving licence — a car licence (D) is prioritised, for driving the team vehicle
- SPM / O-Level or equivalent preferred
- Physically able to stand for long periods, bend and lift machines or equipment for hands-on cleaning work
- Willing to travel with the team across Penang Island and Seberang Perai
- Dependable, honest, punctual and careful with customers' belongings and cleaning chemicals
- Able to work on your own and in a team, and to follow safety procedures

Questions candidates ask
No. Practical training is provided and many of our technicians started with no cleaning experience. A background in cleaning or service work helps, but it isn't a must.
RM1,700 to RM2,100 a month, plus additional incentives and a performance-based bonus. Petrol and travel are covered for field work.
You report to the Yellowbee office in Balik Pulau, then travel with the team to jobs across Penang Island and Seberang Perai.

Day work, Monday to Saturday, following the day's bookings. Exact start and finish times vary with the schedule.
Not essential — technicians travel together in the team vehicle. A valid car licence is prioritised so you can share the driving. Having your own transport to get to the office is a plus.
